Exclusive Grand Theft Auto IV content on the Xbox 360

Microsoft has won a battle against Sony, but not the war. Rockstar Games will provide exclusive episodic content for the Xbox Live, as Microsoft forged a new strategic alliance with the company behind the popular, yet controversial Grand Theft Auto franchise. This is the first time Sony will not be the one providing exclusive content as it did for the previous GTA titles: GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas.
Microsoft stated that Grand Theft Auto IV will be released for Xbox 360 on October 16, 2007, the same day Sony had planned for the game's PlayStation 3 release.
